There will be more pounding feet
upon concrete in protest.
For another cause or lack of justice.
Who will march next and what for?
Is not nearly as important,
as how a protests conducted.
I've seen bricks break glass,
and felt batons hard thump.
I've seen the senseless fires,
and chocked from heavy smoke.
But my days are now more calm
yet those old signs still remains
in the archives in my mind.
My protest is now a silent pray
on humble bending knees
to end all discrimination, and violence,
so many senseless killings.

That was a very deep commentary my friend. I too lived through and helped in the riots. It's a pain you'll never quite forget.
